What Went On At The Democratic Committee

From our friendly, neighborhood correspondent, the Pieman:

The meeting started at 7:45.

Manny was not there and there didn't seem to be a quorum, though those who were there were uncertain about how many members there were on the committee and how many made up a quorum.  Those who were there were open and friendly (which is nice).

I asked if there were members who never come to meetings and who only send in their proxies.  It seems that there are.

I asked if someone can remain on the committee without ever coming to another meeting after being appointed.  The members present said that it was a good question, but that none of them had the bylaws.

I'm hoping that they follow up and tighten their rules if need be.

  1. So Manny Appointed his and Burkes relatives to the board. They never come and Manny votes their proxies. No wonder nothing good comes out of either party committees!

  4. Don't forget the Conservative Party who gave Caruso their endorsement.
When and where do they meet?

It should also be noted that for many years the Conservative Party would not
give Caruso their endorsement although they did endorse other people running for local elections at the same time as Caruso. But once Mr. Sousa left, Caruso's buddy and running mate, Mr Pedersen, got more involved with the Conservative Party. And guess what, they have now endorsed him.

So, in effect, Caruso has influence of controls all 3 parties in Woodbury.
Red flags should be waving along with red flashing lights.

Too much power in the hands of one person is dangerous.
