Mistreating Ralph

The Uncle has been accused of being just a Caruso bashing site.

How unfair!

We bash so many others as well.

Actually there is a different site that appears to go out of its way to create the impression that Ralph is a lying megalomaniac.

I'm not recommending them, they're filled with rumors and out right lies.

But if you're going to accuse us of painting a terrible picture of Ralph, you should see who's really doing that.

  1. There are good reasons to bash Ralph: his maniacal desire to control, his high opinion of himself where he thinks only he knows whats good for Woodbury and far more, too many to name. But one reason really calls for attention and that is his pick of candidates, ones he controls.

We all know that he does not want the current village mayor to win and that he (Ralph) is really backing Thomas Burke (who hauntingly is the spitting image of his father, but in appearance only, not in temperament).

Thomas Burke, as Director of Maintenance and Business Services for the NYC Dept. of Corrections at a Salary of $135,284/yr -2014. may be subject to the Hatch Act, which would prevent him from running for political office.

Take a look at the NYC Conflicts of Interests Board (COIB) and the funding for the DOC, which is on the NYC Council website. (The DOC does receive Federal funding.)

Let's Vote for the dude that is too stupid to know if he is violating the law! He'd be a great one to have in charge of the Village and Village law!!!!!!!!!!1

  2. I think you are the stupid one. Read Chapter 68. There is no conflict of interest, and he is within his rights to run for office. What, exactly is your agenda?

  3. While you want to bicker about Chapter 68, which you obviously did not read entirely, another important point is that someone with a full time job in NYC may not have the "availability" to be mayor, unless off course he is magically going to do all the mayors work on his lunch break or after hours. Hard to imagine a nice family man doing that to his family, giving up evenings with the kids.
Guess he won't be attending any important daytime meetings, talk to lawyers about the KJ annexation on behalf of Woodbury, etc unless he does it when he is being paid by the taxpayers of NYC.Can't do all that at lunchtime.

Vote for the guy who is ripping off taxpayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And don't call me stupid wahhhhh wah!!!!!

  4. I think your confusing Mayor verses Supervisor. Mayor is Part Time. Supervisor is full time. Here it is the old switch & bait. & threats. Oh yeah anonymous one, Didn't u do this during John Burke's first election ? Innuendo & threats?????????????

  5. Why is the supervisor full time? What could the supervisor possibly do that calls for full time?
The supervisor is in charge of what? Water and sewer, no. Roads and sidewalks? no. Planning and zoning? no
Parks yes Police dept yes. Both of these are lead by a commission and a Chief, respectively, with the town board and supervisor basically responsible for their budget, unless the supervisor plans on interfering in those departments.
Mayor and Trustees are responsible for the roads, planning and zoning etc. and while that may not call for a full time position, it does call for someone who is not wrapped up in a MORE than FULL TIME JOB OVER AN HOUR AWAY!
Hopefully this was written so that someone of limited intelligence, like the previous poster can understand.
