Dear Ralph

Have you happened to notice that there isn't an endless stream of people getting up at Town Board meetings to lie about you?

You know, the way you and John Burke and Carol Mullooly and Don Siebold and Bo Haviland and Hank Sullivan would get up to lie about Sheila Conroy and the rest of her board.

Have you ever wondered why?

The fact is, not everybody sees lying as an appropriate political tool.

Perhaps you see that as a weakness.

We see it as a strength.

  1. Telling the truth is strength, but Ralph doesn't understand that.

  2. Unfortunately there is much about the office of Supervisor that Ralph either doesn't or refuses to understand!

  3. I actually think Ralph and Lyn are doing a good job. Why does everyone bash them?

    1. OK. What is exactly has this " good job" consisted of?

  4. Do you call not sharing information with only Lynn and not the other 3 Board members a good job? Repeatedly, 3 Board members ask why they were not told about things or letters and communications were not shared with them. All
Board members should be given the same information and material, not just Lynn. After all, the full Board makes decisions that affect all of us residents and they should do so with full information, not what Mr. Caruso decides he wants to give them.

Lynn seems to follow in lock step with Mr. Caruso and not think independently for herself. In fact, she voted the same way for 3 years on some issues and then suddenly, with no explanation, reversed herself when Mr. Caruso was elected.

Mr. Caruso conveys the impression that he has more power than the rest of the Board members, but he does not. All decisions must be made by a majority of the Board members, not just by him. He micro-manages things and is sometimes disrespectful to fellow Board members.

That is not my definition of a good job. That is divisive.

  5. Under Ralph's watch there has been no annexation agaisnt Woodbury so he must be doing something right. Also, Lyn was voted by the entire board to be Deputy Supervisor.

  6. There has been no annexation against Woodbury, yet, because the easier route is through Monroe where KJ controls the Board. But Ace Farm is waiting to be picked off. There has not been a serious move---yet---so don't go thinking that Caruso has saved Woodbury.

When the move comes, not sure if Caruso is up to the job. Have watched him interpret the law the way he wants it to read, not the way it actually does read.
That is scary because you can be sure the other side will jump on that.

Just remember that when the Village was created, Caruso's people told the public that a village would stop annexation. Totally not true. If he was so wrong on something as basic as this, not sure I want to put the future of my home and Town/Village in his hands.

  7. Show me where Queenan , Caruso, Burke, or anyone that participated in creating the village said or wrote a village prevents annexation. "Creating a village "CONTROLS ZONING". Ask anyone in KJ. Stop the BS.

  8. Sorry Don, we all remember when you folks sold the Village to us because it would stop annexation.

And as to: "Under Ralph's watch there has been no annexation agaisnt Woodbury so he must be doing something right." you forget to mention that while Ralph has been in office there have been no earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and alien invasions. Well done Ralphie.

  9. p.s. I don't count Bo under alien invasions because he was here before Ralph took office.

  10. stop remembering, show me where ANYONE that participated in creating the village said it would prevent annexation. That is simply not true.

  11. Here we have it ladies and gentlemen.
    Ralph's new campaign slogan:
    STOP REMEMBERING!

  12. One should remember (sorry, there is that word remember again) the saying that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
