Look at the calendar.
It's almost that magic time.
You know what I mean.
That magical night when Santa and his elves or the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy or Jimmy Hoffa or sumbody puts out the Last Minute Unsigned Lying Flyer.
Back when the Uncle was young and foolish I used to think it was Ralph.
But now I know better.
Cuz at the debate Ralph was asked about the Last Minute Unsigned Lying Flyer and he said that Last Minute Unsigned Lying Flyers "are not the right thing to do."
So it can't be him.
Did his saying that break the magic spell and chase away the invisible bandersnatches that bring the LMULF?
Are we to be left with no mysterious works of fiction showing up on our garbage pails election morning?
One can only hope.
Thanks, Uncle, for reminding us of past election pranks.
ReplyDeleteYesterday did receive a flyer, but this time it was attributed to Mr. Caruso.
Sadly though it appears to misrepresent facts--quite grossly, in fact.
I heard Mr. Sutz speak and he clearly said that he would be a full time supervisor. But guess by Caruso's definition, only retired people can be
supervisor
And what is the big deal about meeting with Government officials to represent the views and interests of your profession? Teachers, doctors, unions, construction industry, businesses, etc. all do the same thing. It is called lobbying for your group's interest.
Caruso labels Sutz as a "lobbyist" as if he is a paid professional who does this as a career without actually being in the business. Mr. Sutz is in the food industry and meets with government officials about his industry--a totally
understandable activity. But Caruso makes it sound like something bad.
School districts also lobby for their students' and districts' needs.
The bigger question is how can you trust someone to run our town who so
distorts someone who opposes him? Does Caruso do this because winning is more important than the truth? Or does he see the world through glasses that
say, if you don't see things as I do, you are bad and should be attacked?
What's Caruso's proof? The fact that David Sutz says that he would cut his own salary as supervisor.
ReplyDeleteRalph can't get his head around the idea that someone would voluntarily give something back to the town without a hidden agenda.
