The Uncle Is Asked:

Ubi es?

Right here, where I've been all along.

Further comes the request: Velim Scribas.

I'd scribas if anything worth scribasing about happened in Woodbury.

Actually, I'm considering scribasing, dare I say it,  about subjects other than Woodburiana.  For while things are certain to get a bit more interesting as we approach the upcoming Town Board election, just now our little, sylvan home is a bit quiet.

So, if I start to scribas on far flung matters bear with me.  I'll return to topics local soon enough.

So don't worry Cis.  I'm still here.

  1. Hey Uncle I heard Ralph is up to his old tricks trying to fix the election at both the town and village level. I heard he has found a new puppet to run with him and Lyn.

  2. Yup. For those who have been around to watch the Ralph show for awhile, get out the popcorn and pull up a chair so as to be bedazzled. All Republican Town Board candidates must pass the puppet test and are jettisoned if they actually think and vote independently. So it is predictable that Lyn will remain and a new person will be brought on to run for the other Council seat who does not rock the boat.

Watch who gets the Conservation endorsement---Ralph, or course, because he is buddy's with the local chairman who happened to have run with him for Village office some years back. Naturally, the rest of the team approved by Ralph will also be endorsed. That's a no brainer.

And part of the Democratic Committee is still under Caruso's control. although hats off to a few new members who are trying to give voters a real 2 party system. But guaranteed that there will be some Village candidates who will be stealth Ralph people.

Please Uncle Betty, stay on board so that people can find out what is going on behind closed doors. Our government in the hands of the wrong people could be very bad for all of us.

  3. so ralphs favorite paper the gazette had today who the GOP have endorsed. Please read the article Woodbury so you know who not to vote for this year. Ralph looks like he is getting really excited to get Tim off the board who would not do what Ralph wanted him to do. For the sake of the future of Woodbury we need to get Ralph out and make sure his puppets don't get elected.

  4. There is a long trail of people who Ralph and the Republican Committee supported for office and then dumped when they dared to defy Ralph and think and vote for themselves. If you do as you are told, you get support. If not, you
are dumped and replaced. One only needs to watch Board meetings to figure out what was going to happen during endorsement time---quite predictable.
