It's Mine, All Mine!

At last night's town board meeting, Ralph tried, again, to get his changes to procurement policy pushed through.  As before, this would take power from the rest of the board and from the department heads and give it all to, surprise, the supervisor.

The majority of the board (but not Lyn) said what they said last time: No.

Ralph then said but that's what they do in Chester and Crawford and Cornwall and New Windsor and Blooming Grove and Warwick and Highland.  They do it, why can't we, huh, huh, please, give me power!

Without Ralph's new procurement policy, Woodbury is keeping the policy as it's been for years.

It was then moved that the old policy be updated to name Ralph as supervisor.  Ralph voted no.  It then had to be explained to him.

As part of Ralph's justification for changing the procurement policy he slammed (without naming him) the Chief, for buying a new desk to replace a broken one.

When it was his turn to comment the Chief hit Ralph (again, without naming him) for leaving his car parked on Route 32 during the snow emergency.

This comes after reports that Ralph tried to strong arm the chief into giving plum overtime assignments to Ralph's favorites and to move the servicing of police cars from Harriman Auto to McKenzie motors.

It doesn't look like a love match.

By the way Ralph, it's LIBRARY not LIBERRY.  (Yeah, yeah, I know, small point, but it still sounds dumb.)

  2. Actually, the cat is much cuter and likely more pleasant to be around.
